This particular lot from Daurfusu has been processed and dried with the mucilage left intact, adding to body and sweetness whilst still maintaining crisp and clean clarity in the cup. Brewed well you can experience notes of black tea, butterscotch sweetness and a stone fruit finish
The Daurfusu Farmer Group is made up of 37 farmers of the Ermera region of Timor-Leste. For the 37 members and their households, coffee is the primary source of income.
The group is led by Simiao Pedro de Deus, who also works as lead farmer and field officer coordinating cherry delivery to the Lutlala processing station. Simiao is a highly respected figure in the community and a skilled producer. In 2019 he placed in the top-10 in a best of harvest Timor competition.
