Our roots? They trace back to the village of Federal, where we got our hands dirty both on the coffee farm and behind the roaster. It's safe to say we know our beans inside and out, from soil to cup. And yep, we’ve spent as much time on a tractor as behind an espresso machine. That’s the Moonshine way.
Trading the coffee farm for Fred’s old mechanic shed we set up shop in town and began roasting and serving specialty coffee in the heart of Federal village. Since then, our team's grown, and so has our passion. You can now find us find us in our a new HQ in the coastal, country town of Billinudgel. Different locations, same Moonshine spirit.
Whether you’re grabbing a cup at one of our espresso bars or spotting us in some of the areas best cafes, you can rest assured that behind each brew is a group of dedicated, coffee-obsessed people making sure every cup served is as good as the last.
ABOUT OUR BREW
Our process starts with a quality raw product and a clear vision of what we want to achieve in the cup. Each small batch of Moonshine is then roasted by hand and evaluated using all five senses and a little bit of science (of course).
Teaming up with the folks at Langdon Coffee Merchants means we get to work with some of the best coffee growers around the globe. It’s all about mutual respect, and a shared goal: delivering quality coffee, transparently and sustainably. With every sip of Moonshine, know you’re part of that journey.
