Frequently asked questions

What kind of coffee is Giddy Up?

Giddy Up is our dedicated Filter Blend — consistently smooth, delicate and delicious. Made from a blend of high grown washed Specialty Coffees from Colombia and Guatemala, Giddy Up is our everyday filter blend to get you up and moving.

What brewing methods and machines work with Giddy Up?

Giddy Up is roasted for Filter and manual brewing applications. It works on home percolator machines such as — Breville, De'Longhi, Sunbeam — manual brew methods such as the Aeropress or V60 as well as commercial setups like Moccamaster or Fetco. Our recipe guide (15g dose, 280g yield, 92 Degree C. for 2:45 min ) is written for a 2 Cup V60 Filter Pour Over; on a commercial filter machine keep the same ratio and scale up the dose down.

Is Giddy Up good for milk coffees like flat whites and lattes?

Unless you are a Ninja on the espresso machine we don't suggest Giddy Up for milk based drinks. Giddy Up has been roasted lightly to delicately balance the acidity and sweetness of each origin. A poorly extracted Giddy Up can highlight unwanted acidity and cause sourness in milk based drinks. Best stick to Moon Runner or Lucky Lane.
