Delter Coffee Press – Strong Suction Makes It Difficult to Use

I really wanted to like the Delter Coffee Press, but unfortunately it’s not the right fit for me. While the build quality is solid and it does brew a nice cup, the suction is so strong that I find it very difficult to lift the Doser once it’s been pressed down. I’m simply not strong enough to do it comfortably with one hand, and I’ve had to put my second hand around the chamber for stability — which feels unsafe, as the chamber still contains hot water.

After a few attempts, I decided it wasn’t worth the struggle or the risk of spilling hot water/coffee. I’ve switched back to a traditional coffee plunger, which I find much easier and safer to use. The Delter Coffee Press might work for those with more strength, but for me, it’s just too impractical.
