This coffee is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process which involves sourcing natural mountain water from Pico De Orizaba (one of the largest mountains in Mexico). The coffee is soaked and washed in clean water numerous times and then the water is passed through a caffeine filter before being re-introduced to the coffee. This natural process leaves a full flavoured coffee without any chemical residue.

I absolutely love this decaf blend! I’m unable to drink caffeine for health reasons and have been searching for a coffee that still tastes rich, smooth, and natural. Moonshine Organic Decaf is exactly that. It has all the flavor and depth I’ve been missing without any bitterness or “flat” taste that some decafs have. For anyone looking for a delicious, full-bodied coffee without the caffeine, I couldn’t recommend this more highly.
Happened upon Moonshine on a rainy day drive through the hills and was amazed at this delicious decaf. It's now the staple bean in my household.
After a hiccup with AusPost and a slight delay (which Moonshine promptly resolved), very happy to finally receive these magic beans which I can enjoy at anytime - I love me a nightcap espresso that doesn’t give me an unwanted buzz thanks to being decaf. Flavour is uncompromised with balanced structure, a kind of citrus and chocolate velvety experience, love it!

These decaf coffee beans are delicious and work well with our grinder and home coffee machine. It’s so nice to be able to have a decent coffee whilst still drinking decaf. I would buy again.
